Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. (ACCI) is Hiring a Project Manager Near Laredo, TX

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications). This position will also ensure the project is effectively resourced and will manage relationships with stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for project execution
  • Act as the single point of contact
  • Assume the project management responsibilities for assigned projects, which includes tracking the project's performance to budget, scope, schedule, quality and assistance during customer visits.
  • Responsible for leading project team meetings.
  • Manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request paperwork.
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
  • Complete a post-project evaluation
  • Ensure all project documents are properly filed.
  • Communicate with Senior Project Manager regarding approval for change orders.
  • Define and manage project risk.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including action item lists.
  • Ensure that payment terms, schedule and milestones all match the proposal and can be accomplished.
  • Review and address any documents that are not part of the original contract documents.
  • Provide updated schedules to be discussed at weekly meetings.
  • Review production schedule before weekly production meetings to ensure all departments are on schedule.
  • Responsible for completing detailed meeting minutes using template and publish to group.
  • Set up meetings on Project Management Office for project when released from Estimating
  • Manage all scope requests from customer and work with Applications to create scope change documents and costs as needed.
  • Review all internal costs.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Other Duties and Responsibilities

General supervision: routine duties are performed with minimal supervision. standard practices or procedures allow me to proceed alone at routine work. occasional check of work while in progress. work is reviewed upon completion.

Education and Experience

Engineering or Construction Management degree is preferred

At least 1 year experience in managing projects is required

Work Schedule/Hours

Monday – Friday

7:30AM-5:30PM

Flexibility in hours and schedule may be required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000 per year (Based on Experience)
